Ninì is about a famous actress at the downfall of her career and obsessed by the presence of her nephew, who decides to solve an unfinished business.
About the music:
Ninì was a horror short with lots of psychological and paranormal implications. For the music, I decided to write a theme based on a chord progression that would be present in almost every scene where the protagonist is on screen. This progression, which makes use of the Modal Interchange technique, musically functions as a Chaconne
through the entirety of the movie. The almost spectral Waltz that I’ve written features the same progression but with a different set of melodies.
